i used to have trippy fantastic dreams, with impossible sci-fi/fantasy stuff happening. But since becoming a Daddy (now twice over) my dreams have been very mundane: working in some office, going to shops, chatting with friends...everyday stuff. Psychedelic trips are something entirely different. I don't think dreams and trips are remotely related.

Wow! 🤩👏 what a profound enlightening conversation between Rick, Alex, and Allyson! Love the fact that they opened with ricks opnion on drugs saying "there are no bad drugs, only bad ways people can use them." 💯 this is so true as I know there can be alot of factors that can enrich or deteriorate somebody's experience on any drug. However i do feel psychedelics stand apart from orher drugs as medicine for the soul and a tool that could potentially revolutionize and evolve our future as you step out of your ego and look past and onwards to empathy ❤It was my very first time hearing Rick speak and have so much respect for his vision on psychedelics as catalyzers to see beyond the material world and activate love + compassion and empathy for all beings, things and nature itself. The fact he had a spiritual awakening and visualizing being pulled and taken within gravity on mdma was an incredible story to me! I love the idea of meditation, dance, and mdma being incorporated together as well ❤️ it's something I can strongly confess that I implement into my own creative life a few times a week and has only enhanced the success in my work and evolved my own life in a spiritual and healing sense. Hearing everybody's input on psychedelics and their healing, spiritual, and creative benefits gives me hope in the future that especially lsd and mdma will be decriminizaled and legal to take in safe secure therapeutic settings for all. It would be a beautifully enriching caring type of world If everyone could tune in and see the light. Super appreciate the idea of mysticism and spirituality being touched upon in this discussion as well as Alex explaining how all the world views of spirituality and wisdom traditions are honored and incorporated into COSM. It's been refreshing to my own healing journey and mystic life to hear the psychedelic activation of 3 huge inspirators in the visual art and psychedelic communities. Anyone who got to witness this conversation in person is so lucky. I'm feeling very inspired and touched by this, thank you! Also really appreciated rick sharing how he put alot of deep thought into the human psyche and the issues/wars within our world during various times and how it inspired him to not stop fighting the drug laws and be a psychedelic therapist to help others creative mystic loving light be on and thriving in this life. He seems like one of the most kind, selfless, caring individuals on this earth. Looking forward to hearing more of his psychedelic discussions and delving into some of the books recommended here. Turn on, tune in and never stop believing in the world evolving through psychedelics! Keeping my fingers crossed I can attend my first burning man and psychedelic conference in the near future.

the dr bronner foam dome looked so cool from the live footage alexa presented on IG, i bet it was such a fun time! :) happy full moon to the entire COSM community and of course alex + allyson grey! as of ive been doing a lot of my own self evolvement and healing i find many of the points mentioned about the light body truly resonate to me from interconnectedness and the divine light shining in each of us to much of the art shown (i really liked the painting astral body awake). this has also inspired me to read alex's book "transfigurations" again. much of what was mentioned about transcendental light also connected me back with a mystical experience i still remember from a couple years ago and took me back to seeing the melting and reflecting light within me. the art and symbolism behind the light body series mentioned was truly beautiful and appreciate that being shared. looked like last summer solstice was an amazing celebration, so happy i was able to tune in virtually and hope to visit sometime in the near future with my other half 💗 may all see their inner divine light after this ceremony :)

Kc the last colors of candy were together orange and our city was in the middle of Westport in tents. In many ways they're actually almost opposites and dreaming tends to have much more in common with dissociatives and deliriants than with psychedelics frankly. Dreams lack that kind of psychedelic coherency and crispness and realness. Dreams if anything, feel less real and below baseline waking consciousness in terms of ontological verity, whereas serotonergic psychedelics feel pretty well above baseline and *more* real than even baseline waking reality. Now I have had dreams where I've taken a psychedelic before (LSD & Ayahuasca separately), but that's a highly unique and anamolous example. Also I would wager cannabis's rather interesting and somewhat enigmatic relationship with dreaming has to do with cannabis's dissociative qualities, not its psychedelic qualities.
